I am sick of eating pot noodle for lunch, so today I decided to go to Harveys, despite the fact that its been snowing all night and is very very cold (too cold to snow, but no one told the snoo I guess), and the roads are very slippery. While clearing the snoo off the windshield, I managed to knock the wiper blade off. Its held on by one of those one clip fits all things that dont actually fit anything, so I had to figure it out then force it on. In the process, I damn near lost my fingers. Took five minutes of screaming and crying in the car with the heater on full blast before the finger pain went away. Then it was skiddle out of the parking lot, skiddle around every corner, skiddle past the Fedex truck in the middle of the lane, and so on until I reached Harveys. Then it was wait wait wait in the drive-thru, then get out and skiddle all the way back to the office. Sacrificed almost my whole lunch hour and almost sacrificed all my fingers just to pick up (not eat!) a hot dog combo with frings and Pepsi. Only good thing that happened was that the car was finally running long enough to get really warm and I was finally able to stick the dash cam back onto the windshield.
