I am sick of listening to all the "principled/moralistic" talking heads and self enamored politicians who want to whack Syria. I might think about considering their asinine yapping when they all advocate a return to a military draft without deferments. The only people who have had real blood, guts and skin in the game for the last decade-plus are those young men and women who have so nobly served their country and given the best years of their lives, if not their lives in fact, fighting wars and interventionist escapades to protect Wall Street balance sheets and "sacred" archeological sites. I wonder how many would have volunteered had they known then what they have so painfully learned. The middle east is valuable only because of its oil resources and as a focal point for religious fanatics. If the Wall Street plutocrats and religious yokels of the world have the lives of their sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters on the line I would bet that their attitudes would be a good deal more considered.
