I am sickened that my husband was denied a medical travel this morning! they told him that because he did not hand in one of his past appt. confirmations that they could not issue him another. Who is in authority regarding denying rights and benefits??? This is denying a fudiciary right that all indians are rightfully entitled to!!! Whomever is denying travel to our membership based on paper confirmations is being proactive for the process....on behalf of how the government runs these porgrams and enforces guidelines...they are NOT being proactive for THE PEOPLE. Wonder whats gunna happen when the government hands over this HEALTH/BUDGET responsibility to the BAND???? Guess the people have to be proactive for themselves...cause the people the band hires sure enforce the gov.s process. feel sad for those who struggle to get to a dentist or a doctor.
