I am sitting here drinking a cup of coffee and I am looking out at the lake ..... Wondering how another UGA player managed to get arrested . It is really becoming a problem because the kids come into college with a feeling of entitlement . Our society created this monster several years back when we treated these players like rock stars. A long time ago when a kid signed on signing day you would read about it in the newspaper or see it on tv . We very rarely had a live news conference where the kids would take 6 hats and line them across the table and put on a hat like he was signing with that school and then take it off and then put on his school of choice!! I think it is tacky to play with a schools emotions after they have offered you a full scholarship and rolled out the red carpet for you. I have been very hard on coach M.R. In the past about being a little bit soft but I hate how he is getting thrown under the bus ! This week all we will hear about is how he has a bunch of thugs and cant keep order on his team. I have to say that I cant think of a coach that has kicked more star players off the team. You would think after all of the players kicked off the team already that your first thought would be to fly the straight and narrow!! Dont let down your team, coaches, your fans!!!!! Folks this is a problem everywhere not just at UGA. Getting a full ride and playing football is a privilege !!!! Not a right!!!! These kids are sitting on lottery tickets and all they have to do is keep their noses clean for three to four years and then can cash in . So the worse case scenario they get a free education or they may even go to the NFL!!! I think I have had too much coffee but I had to vent on this lol!
