I am sitting here reading my MCR and on the front page, is the story on how Forsyth is planning utility rate hike (which is still CRAZY that they are in the electricity business anyway) and then on page 6 Forsyth has a Downtown Development Authority to meet with the city attorney (which is going to cost God knows how much more money) for a THIRD group to promote tourism???? FOLKS THAT LIVE IN THE CITY PLEASE WAKE UP!!!! There is absolutely no reason what so ever for an area with a population of 4,000 to have 3 governing boards to attract tourism. Save those attorney fees Forsyth and put towards the garbage pick up or better yet, pay the health insurance bills.
