I am sitting here thinking about all the times I would stay up late the night before Thanksgiving and Christmas helping my Mom cook. It has been 8 years since my Mother was called home and it does not ever really get easy when the Holidays are here. I would give anything to have my Mother and Father sitting at my table tomorrow with me and my family. If your parents are still alive cherish the time you have with them because you never know how long you will have with them and when your parents are gone your whole world seems to be a daze. Rae Ann Williams I cannot lie it really does not get easy. All we can do now is hold on to the memories and never forget the Love your parents or parent gave you. I will say I have always been jealous of all of my cousins because they all had their parents a lot longer than I ever did and it really hurt when I would see you all with your parents knowing I would never have what you all had. My father never did get to meet my children or walk me down the Isle when I got married and now My Mother will never get to meet her great grand children. I know I should not have felt that way but when you are 19 years old and your hero dies it is hard to handle but I do Thank God everyday for the time I did have with my parents and for all the great memories I have. My parents were not perfect but they were mine and I love and Miss them both very much... So Please Be Thankful for your parents and make sure you let them know how much you love them everyday.... Be Thankful for your time with your love ones... Happy Thanksgiving...
