I am sitting here thinking about the last 50 plus years and I have come to the conclusion that I have had a pretty full life. I have done things that others only dream about, met some of the most interesting people, and viewed some of the most beautiful sites. I could not have asked for a more loving and caring family. I have friends every where I go and a lot of those I consider family as well. I have been fortunate enough to accomplish practically everything I have set out to do, a lot of folks consider that as being stubborn! I like to think of it as being focused and driven. I have built my own hot rod from the ground up, I even built a beautiful home for my family and friends to share any time they want. I attribute all of this to the way I was raised, having a stern work ethic, being honest to a fault, and truly caring about others and having a desire to help those in need. In the past 4 years I finally found my passion, working with dogs and being a part of the Search and Rescue community. I only wish I could have started doing this years ago! To top it all off the last 20 or so years I have gotten to share all of this with my best friend in the world, my Wife Dorothy. Love ya Babe!! Have I made mistakes? Yes! Do I have any regrets? Well of course I do! Would I change anything? More than likely. But you know what? Im happy and fulfilled and looking forward to the next 50 or so years! Thanks for all of the Birthday wishes!!!
