I am slowly getting my land legs under me. They barely gave me a drop of sedative, and I was bouncing from the clouds. I am pretty sure I entertained Laura all day long...and possibly embarrassed her more than once! I was pain free today. Every step of the procedure went as planned. I was never afraid, and although I was wide awake, it never hurt. I didnt get a headache. I am feeling fine! Now, the trick is to rest and let the steroid do its work. God lifted me up, carried away my fear, removed my pain, provided a companion, and, just as a bonus, all three kids made it through a day at school. Remember the song, God is so good. God is so good.
