I am so Okmulgee that I remember the Tower Drive Inn, Teen Town, Red Barron, Patio Drive Inn, Colemans on wood drive, Powells Packing Co., Okmulgee Laundry, The Green House at Okmulgee HS that you went up stairs too,The Dog House, a wonderful place we ate lunch across from HS, Tastee Freeze, Becon Drive Inn,Anthonys, Montgomery Wards, Ramseys, Guy Guest, Toppers, Ostranders, Ben Franklin, New Berrys, Kresss, Bishops, Dons Drug Store, JCPenney, Careys Furniture,Neals Thrift-T-Wise, Browns Shoes,Okmulgee Refinery ,Johnsons Jewelry, Whites Jewelry, Hightower Furniture, The Golden Cue,Bikes,,Ball Brothers, Key Rexall Drug, Orpheum Theatre,Fidler-Harlan, Southern Mansion,Wylies Shoe Store,...........Question for you all from Okmulgee back in the 50s & 60s?? what was the apt. building called across from the First Baptist Church?? Was it Belmont?Juliana Restaurant , Jones Furniture..........oh yes, and swimming at Greenwood lake,.... .guess you know I am from OKMULGEE!! Oh Yes, Green Latern went there every Sunday with my dad to eat lunch...
