I am so blessed to have had the chance to be surrounded with great teenagers over the past 5 + years as I have coached and assisted with the NCHS majorettes. I guess I wasnt such a horrible coach when I have alumni stop by during summer practice to lend a hand, loan us accessories and equipment, and share their talants. First of all, I want to thank Emily Stout and Heidi Dennison for their encouraging words and smiling faces. Its always great to hear a few testimonies from veteran majorettes to help the new members see the whole picture of our goals we set early on in the season. Even though Kasey Davis, Maci Lane Foster, and Rachel Hypes arent with us this marching season, they all have sent messages to me and/or the new team members in the last few days to cheer us on. That has impressed me the most :) I am thrilled that they want to see the young ladies succeed and continue the tradition that has been established with this group. And lastly, a big thank you to Jessica Adkins and Rachel Hypes for making our hair accessories for us! We appreciate all of the love a support that has been shown to the NCHS Majorettes this summer.
