I am so concerned with such trivial matters. Nothing I care about matters. Nothing. And the veil* is so thin. We are so blinded and lost and stupid. We just dont get it. At All. We just dont get it. My heart is on fire. My own journal entry from 2010 after a very moving experience from which I gained my complete assurance of the reality of Jesus Christ. Im thankful that I wrote this. I am having a very hard time right now, and I feel like the world is closing in on me. I am thankful that my own thoughts recorded can remind me of a truth I felt and can feel again every time I remember this most amazing experience. I am still concerned with trivial matters. And those trivial matters STILL dont actually matter. And I am still blind, and I still dont get it. But my heart can be on fire every time I let Him in. I know, and I mean the word know, that Christ wants us in His own arms. He wants to hold us close and comfort us. Every one of us. *The term the veil refers to the separation of us from God during our mortality.
