I am so damn pissed right now I see RED. Im in tears literally. Owners send a plumber out. He claims he found the problem. Owner told me she tried for 3 hrs to get someone out today to pump the water out. Before the damn freaking water can be pumped out, they have to do major drilling down in the basement. I told the owner I have to be in Chicago Mon and & be back until Tues. She has a key to my house but I told her she has my permission to come in. Itll be better than way cuss theyll be using a jack hammer & other stuff. All my antique furniture is all water stained 3 inches up from bottom of legs. My recliner & half couch is ruined as it sits in water. I want to say thank you to my very dear & good friend Mary Beth Perri Minor for all the help shes been giving me today. She didnt want me down in basement & get hurt. She brought up all what she could of the antique furniture & I have it in the whelping room. Maggies whelping date is not tip Jan. 3rd I have a legal box of legal documents that is SOAKED. Mary Beth had 4 risers & she got my antique buffet up on the risers. Owner told me her husband would be over later w/a couple guys to put my stuff on pallets. I told her my friend was here & she told me again she doesnt want us in the basement to get hurt. She probably fears a law suit if we got hurt. If she thought I was leaving all my 75-100 yr old antique furniture down there for it to rot before he husband get back over here, shes crazy! My other oak washstand is sitting in water. Its too heavy for her to bring up stairs & another old piece is sitting in water. All my big boxes that are packed w/pictures sit in water. 8 of them came from my Dad as he left to me. Oil paintings. I know one damn thing, someone is going to pay for all the damage I have. Im sick. All Ive wanted to do is throw up all day. Bless Mary Beth, shes going to pick up Bobby her son and then get us lunch and come back over. I should have stuck w/my org. plan since I was approved to buy a home in Reading, PA! LOL
