I am so disgusted by rescues touting themselves proudly as No Kill Shelters. In actuality they are High Kill shelters. By taking on too many animals, a large percentage of these animals catch deadly viruses, which are spread amongst them through lack of proper ventilation, lack of hygiene, overcrowding and poor isolation methods. These animals eventually die slow painful deaths . So stop the bullshit about being No Kill maybe you should name yourselves Slow Kill instead, as brilliantly articulated by fellow animal lover Carole Dandurand!
