I am so excited about my new writing assignment that is taking me to three destinations on the mainland. Its a combined contract that includes some of the most amazing historical sites, lap of luxury restaurants... yummy five star eating, and the best shows on the planet! Hope to have time to add in a few luxury spa treatments... Ah the life of a writer! Did someone tell you that its not profitable? HA. Think again. You too can have those experiences but it takes a bit of know how. One of my writing students is now planning on joining me for a portion of this trip and that will be fun. I mentor students so that they have a real life experience of what it is like to actual travel and be a travel writer. I got hooked on the travel writing experience about 30 years ago. Its one of the best ways to see the world, and I am speaking directly from my experience of having been treated all over the world on five continents and an around the world journey.... This is the stuff that makes books worth reading. Wait till you hear my chapter on Chinatown. Please enjoy my recommendation to read Mike McIntrye who has written 4 novels, three that take you along on his journeys across America and across the World. BTW, I plan to hook up with him over there in California. He is currently my favorite author. You will LOVE his writing style which is light years ahead of 90 percent of the writers writing today. I have done a series of interview questions with him previously and I am waiting for the right time to publish that interview. He has caught the attention of MANY including Oprah Winfrey. Give yourself a treat and download the first several chapters for free on your kindle and then you will want to keep reading from there.
