I am so excited and feeling blessed to share that today marks a very special day in my life. Two years ago on this day I left my full time job at Geico of 15 years. Oh my how I was anxious, afraid and nervous. This was the largest step of faith I have ever taken in my life. Leaving behind stability in income, benefits and job security. I now have my own Non-Profit organization (WE ARE FITNESS) have taught many classes with the opportunity to meet some amazing beautiful and hard working ladies. However I have also learned so many valuable lessons. Some lessons connected to pain that I wouldnt wish anyone to experience. With all the lessons that I have learned, I know if I did not take that leap of Faith I wouldnt of known what I was capable of achieving. Looking back now, I can truly say God has definitely been in full control of everything I am doing. His blessings have kept me through the hardest times. Its amazing how no matter what you think you cant handle God will give you the strength to endure and handle it all. Wanting to give up when I did not understand the Why things happen but instead fight and push through the tears that others never see or hear me cry. Even though I have experienced some ups and downs in my fitness career I can say I have a strong support system of friends and family. I have learned No Matter how bad it gets and what the outcome may be I have to remain positive and believe in the best. When God speaks to you then best believe the enemy will be yelling and screaming at the same time. Two years ago God was speaking while the enemy was yelling at me doubt, fear, failure, uncertainty etc.... I am so glad I followed my heart and listened to God. There are still days the enemy is yelling and asking me whats next? I use to be concerned and would worry, but now after two years of walking in Faith I know God has the answer for him!!! I will continue to stay focused, working hard, remain patient and never stop praying to see what Gods ultimate answer is.
