I am so f@#$en done with California!!! Today while I was at the Veterans Hospital in Livermore I saw a WWII Veteran in a wheelchair being escorted by the Police stationed at the facility. No big deal right? Maybe he needed help getting around?? NOPE!! He is required to have a police escort while on the property because he FED THE WILD TURKEYS !!!! Yep! For the criminal act as California sees it of feeding the wild turkeys, this HERO, this honorable member of our nations GREATEST GENERATION must be escorted like a felon whenever he arrives on post!!! I was happy to hear however that the officer who is to guard the man is as disgusted as I am about it and looks at it as an opportunity to serve this man as the hero he is by pushing his chair and helping him with whatever he needs while at the VA.
