I am so glad that I switched to a new doctor. I felt guilty switching doctors but Im so glad I trusted my instinct. My new doctor referred me to MFM and I went today and they did my anatomy scan. They confirmed that I should be followed by high risk and told me things the exact opposite of my original doctor. I will have lots of ultrasounds and tests throughout my pregnancy and they also moved my due date up by two weeks. Have to go again on the 9th for another u/s!! Were going to b seeing a lot of this baby boy. Oh and he was not shy at all the time so we confirmed that he is in fact a boy.... he was letting it all hang out lol. Well in the techs words... its right there... sticking straight up lol. I am 20 weeks now and at 28 weeks they want me to start kick counts. At 34 weeks they want a weekly nst and another test with ultrasound. Ultrasounds every 4 weeks regularly and monthly blood test checks for my thyroid medication. Hes also referring me to a new pain management specialist and a spine specialist. I feel so much more secure knowing that I have a thorough doctor who cares!
