I am so going to miss Governor Perry!!! Its been some wonderful years in Texas with him as our great Governor!! Im sure Abbott will do a fine job but hes sure got some Texas sized boots to fill!! ;) I do hope this nation wakes up and realizes Perry can do the same for our nation! I would love to go around yelling out Dont Mess With America under a Perry presidency! All of us could actually be able to sleep peacefully at night knowing he would make sure our nation was protected. Hes a strong man and he is fearless!! He knows what it takes to prosper and he knows what it takes to make and keep us safe! He respects our military, he is staunch on States Rights being returned back to the States and he is steady and strong on financial stability! He is definitely against supporting our enemies!! He is personal friends with Netanyahu and Israel. He is strong on the issues of Conservatism. I just cannot imagine any one just shrugging this man off when we need him the most!! He meets all our goals as Conservative!! Hope people will pay attention IF he decides to run for 2016!!! Experience and the proof of success!! How could anyone ignore it!! You just cannot argue with his record and his success here in Texas!! ~Faith Gov. Perry Delivers Final Address to a Joint Session of the Texas Legislature 1/15/2015 - TEXAS STATE CAPITOL - Governor Dewhurst, Speaker Straus, members of the legislature: I appreciate this one final opportunity to speak to you, in the chamber where it all began for me, 30 years ago last week. I have come here to reflect on what we have done together, and to say farewell. But most of all, to tell you it has been the highest of honors to serve as your governor for the last 14 years. I believe in public service, that it is among the most honorable of callings, and I am reminded of that every time I am with legislators, some of whom were here the day I first set foot on this floor, such as Speaker Craddick, my classmates Harold Dutton and John Smithee, Dean Whitmire and of course, the inimitable Mrs. Thompson. Because of their example, I have always viewed public service as a worthy calling, a calling President Lincoln summarized as doing, the greatest good to the greatest number. youtu.be/aGCE4OGWXyk
