I am so griped right now. Several months ago we were robbed but there were circumstances that had us questioning pressing charges. A policeman came to our home gave us our options and assured us we had plenty of time to think on the matter. We picked up our goods which we had to pay out of hock and got the signed slips with the name of the theif as well as his ID and store video. So....we go to press charges and are told it now has to be a civil matter. The cop told us there was no statue on time and that the stealing and selling of our property amounted to several felonies. What gives? When do the people that do what is right get some justice?
