I am so happy and grateful that I have a real relationship with God and that I have access to speak to him. One of my co-workers came in my office the other day and told me that their sister in law was ill and they family called everyone in because it was any moment that she was going to leave here. I told them that I would pray for them and the family. After they left my office, I shut my office door and went into prayer immediately. There were three specific things I asked God for this soul and one was for extended time to receive him as Savior. The individual was not responding and basically giving the family time to make the decision to pull the plug or not. During this whole time Im praying, my body had been under attack since last Saturday, but I went in for someone else. The individual walked in my office this morning and told me that she woke up, went to the bathroom on her own yesterday, and the doctors are going to release her to go home. I smiled and tried to fight back the tears, and im not much a crier at times, but when you know that you have access to God and he will honor your request, its a humbling thing. Most of all, the important part is this young lady has a new day brand new mercy with God. We really need to get off always asking God for things that will better us, and learn how to have compassion and pray for folks that may know you prayed for them. We need to reach beyond our regular mundane life and step into a world/realm with God where you can reach nations and cause change and never leave your home. Too many people wanna preach and build churches but never want to reach outside their own four walls and confront zones. Today I just give God praise
