I am so happy that there is a separate FB page for the very real concerns of early childhood Common Core standards, namely the K-3 standards. This has been my immediate urgency and what I have tried to explain to both the Superintendent of our Catholic Schools in Cincinnati (I currently live in Ohio but am from NY) and principal of our school. I am attaching a letter that I wrote outlining these concerns. It is a long letter but has easy access to the videos of early childhood psychologists that are now testifying across this land that the K-3 standards are developmentally inappropriate. Feel free to take anything from this letter. I have nothing to hide. Our little ones are losing their math confidence and having anxiety over this disaster. They only have one shot at education. Please, please let us continue to have the ambition to fight this at every level we can. Again, thank you for starting this page.
