I am so happy to see people who are in the public eye step up and share their journey. I think it has helped tremendously with not only infertility awareness but making it something that no couple has to be ashamed or embarrassed about. It can happen to anyone, even secondary infertility, which most people dont think about. Sure our boys werent conceived the traditional way but the process brought us closer than we were already and made me even more grateful for our boys I have growing inside of me! I had always admired women who went through IVF but now have a whole new level of admiration and respect. People can tell you how difficult, heartbreaking, painful, and stressful the process is but you never fully understand until you are there and going through it yourself. I can honestly say, and I am sure any woman who has gone through IVF can agree that there is NO WAY I couldve made it through it without my husband. I was okay with doing the injections but was so nervous preparing and actually pushing to inject the medicine. Craig did that for me every single injection!! Made sure I ate and prepared what was recommended even though the hormones made me only want Mexican food and SUGAR!! Taking care of me and the household responsibilities while I healed from retrieval and transfer. Helped me remain positive when I was so terrified I was going through all of it and it wasnt going to work! This journey and now this pregnancy has shown me strength I didnt know I had and i can truly say I am proud of our infertility journey!!
