I am so happy to share this with my facebook friends: This young ladys family has been a member of the Newman Center in Tucson for many years. I have been blessed to be a part of many special family moments with them through the years, including giving Nizhoni her first communion when she was 9. She is in high school in San Antonio now and has been burning up the stages of Mariachi and folklorico festivals and competitions for as long as she was old enough to sing. Even as a little girl, she had an amazing mature voice, but it has only gotten better as she has matured and trained. This is a great version of this song and really highlights her talent.
