I am so happy we had a day of Amira feeling better and sunshine (simultaneously) while we are home. Im hoping she has the worst of this respiratory thing behind her(no fever, but any signs of illness are scary right now) but we couldnt resist a short walk up the street to look for flowers. That went so well that I couldnt say no to a short visit with our friends next door (and Amira couldnt resist running off with their princess ball). Some big things in our lives that will mean a lot over the next two years of treatment were finally on the threshold of resolution today. Amiras big brother also went back to school for his first time since last school year. I hear he isnt the only one who went back today, but we snuck him in and out quietly, and Amira went to work filling the silence at home. I love that I get to be this little grls mother.
