I am so honored to have had the opportunity to work with University Health Systems Transplant Center. This project almost didnt happen, but I am so glad it did. With the help of the Marketing Coordinator, Shanna Puente, our lovely lung recipient, Dot Delarosa, and my crew, Homero Amador, and Jae Rivera, we combined our talents and created a beautiful product that will help transplant patients and their families get a jumpstart on understanding all they are about to endure. There were a few setbacks, but thanks to the dedication of my team and the entire staff involved, we excelled. As many of you know, University Hospital holds a special place in my heart. They took care of my sister, so I took care of them. A special thank you goes out to everyone who took care of my sister, to every nurse, surgeon, and staff member that volunteered their time, AND every one that is working in the medical field to help save and change lives currently and in the future. I am so grateful for everyone Ive met, the bonds Ive made, and every door that has been opened to me because of this project. To God be the glory honor and power.
