I am so irritated with fb, I just wrote a huge update on this mare and it disappeared! She is still standing :) she is a fighter! Her mouth is serverly swollen, I would say she is at least 20 but hard to mouth her with the swelling.. I am heading to my sisters to borrow a blanket and I will put her on antibiotics to help with the blow out on neck that is oozing with infection... antibiotics and hopefully the strangles and or tooth infection... her condition is very poor... she was left tied for kill... The kb and I went and got her, I was told there was a thin horse, and this is what we see... she did great and I made the kb drive slow it took us twice as long to get home... but she was still standing and never went down... she we elle wobbled off the kill truck and she is now stalled here.. I dont have the means to keep this mare, but for now she is here with us... we have a offer tog get her to iowa, which is closer than the other offers... and if she seems strong enough in and few days maybe we could raise the funds to get her to and nice warm stall and lots of love and hay and feed when she is ready for it :) In the meantime, I owe the kill buyer 80$ for the gas it took to get this mare and non nd get her to me, if everyone would donate only $5 we would be there in no time! If i chsrged a dollar everytime i got advice i woukd have plenty of money for this mare :) pleade, I spend all my money on these horses... I feed Em and grain Em and help them find new homes and havent added a fee on to the kill price so any donations would be greatly appreciated!
