I am so proud of her...and since slowly taking notice of what a wonderful young woman she has become, I cant help but feel that she deserves (and has deserved since pre-birth) so much better. I gave it 200% sometimes, but cant help but to be in awe when I look at my beautiful, intelligent and strong daughter...and think to myself, Despite rocky beginnings and not making wise choices in MY life (some that still affect her!!!!), she turned out to be UBER awesome! I could have done better by her...made better choices in MY life...most of them before she was born, but walla...here she is...and I cant be proud enough of the miracle that is my daughter. I am sincerely blessed. She came into this world postured for all of the choices that I made...and those that I didnt. She was born a warrior...with a peaceful spirit, a no nonsense outlook, a giving and caring nature and a silent strength that can keep an entire room calm. And I thank God for that...I thank God for her...EVERY day, ALL day! Jayla Bijan Norris, you are my ROCK, just as I am yours! :D
