I am so proud of her boldness. Hair = beauty and the way God created the woman. Men sicken me when they give in fully to the curse. God said man would rule over the wife in the context of the CURSE passage (Genesis 3:13-21) regarding the new fallen nature because of their sin. Read things in context! In the garden man never ruled over his wife. God cursed man to want to! It is in the curses passage! Hello!. Oppression of women CAN be overcome! God never gave Eve a head-wrap! He clothed them both with coats when it was needed, as they were banned from the garden. Christian groups can be just as oppressive as these laws. Jesus loves you ladies! He loves you just the way He made you!!!! With Jesus in the hearts of Christian men they CAN be one in unity with his wife, overcoming the curse, going back to the garden in EQUALITY. Not woman greater or over men either, but THEY as EQUAL. God wanted Adam to want a wife. God presented his plan of males and females before Adam as he was shown all the animals and named them. God wanted Adam to WANT a wife. When he asked for her God took a rib and made him his helpmeet. Helpmeet means helper comparable to himself, as he MEETS with the same. This is why it is translated as such in English. Adam seeing her as being made from his rib named her Isha, woman. He was naming the other part of his flesh. He essentially naming his own flesh not taking dominion over her. (When Eve and Adam sinned God addressed Adam first why? Because He specifically told Adam not to touch it. Genesis 2:16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. In marriage God is always the head. He speaks to both man and woman and both should obey in truth. You cannot make a theology out of this passage saying it is proof Adam is over Eve because He spoke to Adam first with this command. Did not God speak to Mary first, or what about Samsons mother? God visited her commanding Samson be a Nazarite and no razor touch his head? She was to relate it back to obey WITH her husband. Just like Adam related Gods command to Isha. Marriage is DUAL submission in UNITY to Gods will.) Nowhere is it said God gave dominion over the woman to the man at creation. When Woman was with Adam God commanded them BOTH and blessed them, together equally. Genesis 1: 26Then God said, Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground. 27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 Then God blessed them and said, Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground. He waited until woman was there. It was a dual command EQUAL authority was given by GOD TO BOTH OF THEM. IT IS RIGHT THERE! God gifts men with different tasks for Him. He allowed Adam to name the animals to speak to the heart of Adam, to see he was missing his other half. God allows the blessing of children to come out of the woman. Neither task should be seen as greater. God gives the task and to His glory we accomplish them. I pray people read the bible with a BACK TO THE GARDEN view, through the grace of Jesus Christ. Eden was Gods perfect plan for us. Equal in authority and only lorded over by God Himself. Jesus is The Lord. In Jesus we CAN go back to the garden but this time with a greater birth! This time with His Spirit inside of us instead of coming down to meet with us. Woman and men can overcome the curse of the fall through Jesus Christ, but only if they TRY TO. Im not talking about the free gift of salvation. Im talking about going back to the garden mindset, equality and EQUAL rulership God commanded us to have. Amein. (Bree Keyton took a back to the garden mindset during her BIRTHS and guess what? They were easy and without intense pain, virtually pain free! We in Christ are back to the garden! She refused the curse and asked Jesus for His original plan for her births. It is possible!!!!! We just need to try, to ask and keep seeking Gods perfect will!)
