I am so proud of the awareness that has been raised for childhood cancer in September. Childhood cancer research get less than 4% of the national funding and that is heartbreaking. The reality is that today as we go about our day today, 46 families will receive a childhood cancer diagnoses. The even harsher reality is that 7 families will lose their child to this horrible disease today. Remember awareness=funding=research=CURES! So please continue to share post, wear your gold shoelaces, and gold bows and most of all PRAY FOR A CURE for all of these children!! 11 more days left in September to make someone else become aware!
