I am so sick of people that say it is 2014 not 1930 or whatever year they choose, so stop pulling the race card! And I am going to say this has nothing to do with Cops now. But racism is still going strong, the average white person does not realize it because it doesnt bother them. But me as a mother of black children when ever I hear anything about race it saddens me. For instance I worked in the food industry, I dont work there any more so I am going to let this all out. A black couple comes in servers try so hard not to get them act like they arent ready for another table. My restaurant actually had a nickname for them, they called blacks Canadians, so they didnt sound racist when they really were. My son last year was told all black people like watermelon, hot chips, and grape soda at school by a little boy that used to say racist things to him all the time. Best believe I took care of that issue. My boys at their daycare got called brown bags because of their skin color, is that not racism? This year my son recently started taking the bus to school and at one point was giving me a hard time getting on the bus, to come to find out he was getting called a n*****. I was at drug mart picking out movies a couple years ago and a couple was looking for a movie the girl said lets get the movie precious the guy said no who wants to watch a movie about a big fat black n*****, oh I flipped and asked how would you like to be called a cracker to him and told him he shouldnt use words like that in public or really at all. Yup I said get mad at me really dont care. I will stand up for my Black children forever and I dont care what anyone thinks about me. It is 2014 and racism is still being taught to these young minds. You are not born racist you have to be taught it. My boys and I, we dont see color and thats how the whole world should see it. First person who post something stupid will be blocked.
