I am so sick of people who know Ava and aren`t pissed that very little is being done to give kids like her a voice. If you even know half of what she has been through you should be telling everyone you meet about childhood cancer and that it is not rare! 7 kids died today because there is "no cure" and researchers dont have enough funding to find one. 46 kids were diagnosed, I personally know how gut wrenching and terrifying that news is to hear as a parent. It sickens me that Ava`s friends do more childhoos cancer awareness spreading than most of her family. If you have watching her suffer through 2 years of treatment, I dont understand why I dont see awareness photos all over my news feeds. I wish it was all I saw! We have been "lucky" this far with Ava but she has still been through hell. I cant even imagine the feeling of waking up unable to walk. I cant even imagine having my head cut open. I cant begin to understand what Ava must think about life. She all around is a very happy 4 year old. But just for a minute imagine living in her shoes. More of her life has been hurt pain and cancer than care free. She doesnt even remember life before this.
