I am so sickened right now. over the riots in Ferguson! St. Louis had a real chance to take a bad thing and turn it good, put a good light on St. Louis. What happened yesterday was sad, horrible a boy lost his life and a cop likely through his life away. In all honesty though from reports Ferguson handled it properly afterwards they knew it didnt pan out, turned it over to St. Louis county and now to the justice department. This could have been big for us, for our home, and now instead of honoring gun violence victims and peacefully protesting we are rioting at businesses, attacking people, looting stores, attacking police officers, breaking windows, etc. You want peace, this is not how you do it. You want justice, this isnt how you do it. It makes no sense! And people are out rioting and looting with their babies on their hips. I hope your kids get taken away and you are all arrested. Im sorry, but I am heated! Some ones baby died yesterday, a 17 year old young man and because of your actions tonight I guarantee other peoples children will be hurt. Those employees, those cops ,those people on the street they have families they want to go home to too! I couldnt be more sad and disgusted right now. Ferguson feels like home to me, Ive spent a lot of time there, my church is there, Ive played in those streets, Ive done volunteer work in those neighborhoods it isnt right. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. All this is going to do is cause more problems .And lets be real, once we got all the info you cannot even compare this case to Trayvon! Trayvon was stalked by a neighborhood watchmen and gunned down. This young man attacked a police officer. Two way different situations. Not that I believe he should have been shot multiple times, especially after the police officer knew he was unarmed and tried to get away from the police car, but cops are trained to act when they are attacked let alone when some reaches and fights for their gun. Either way at the least this boy wouldve been arrested whereas Trayvon did none of that. And once again you are now silencing all of those victims!
