I am so sorry you all had to go through this with Chris. Mental Illness is a terrible disease, and when in denial of it makes it even worst. Having a Chemical imbalance in your head and refusing to take the medications that will help you makes it even worst. Getting hooked up with the wrong doctors makes for a disaster. Scary, sad and helpless we feel, as parents as we watch them tumble into unreality. I left FB, because it was breaking my heart to watch. I am sorry, that you has to all watch, but hoped that you would do what you needed to do to make you ok. I love my son dearly, as would any mother with their child. I have been away all week could not bear it any longer. I prayed everyday that the part of Chris we all knew would realize and seek help. He did, Mike just called me and said Chris made the call to 911 and told his father he was going to a safe place and not to worry. , and now I pray that they will not let him come home until he is completely stabilized.
