I am so tired of seeing black people fight and act crazy on social media. It should be universally understood that racism is wholly based of a corrupt perception. It is subjective and not objective. It is the imagination of the racist that paints others as inferior. It is a story that they create to explain their own position in life. That being said, booty-thumping, fist fighting, salacious, and moronic behavior only make us actors in the racist belief system. It gives credence to their moronic beliefs. There is great power in the imagination. It allows us to conceptualize and give form to things that the world has never seen. This is true of both the bad and the good. Iniquitous imagination allows despots to conceive and destroy millions in their head before they act in the physical world. Giving credibility to those thoughts hurts us all. Stop being a performer of racist imaginings and be a person of character. The choice is yours and you have to make it everyday. ~ Eddie K. Phillips
