I am so unbelievably DONE with the US Postal Service. I paid to have a package delivered on Saturday. Didnt come. So I figured it would come on Monday since there isnt any post on Sunday. Nope, they took Columbus Day, an incredibly controversial holiday, off so no package. Tuesday? Not a chance. But today I had hope because I got a tracking notification that it was out for delivery at 8:49 this morning. My mom was home all day and there was nary a package in sight. When I got off work, I rushed over to her house to wait... and wait and wait and wait. I skipped class so I would be SURE to be there when the carrier came. At 5:45 PM I got a notification that the package was undeliverable. WHAT. I WAS WAITING AT THE DOOR FOR IT. A truck never came. An employee either went to the wrong location and decided it was undeliverable or lied about getting to that part of the neighborhood so they could get off work early. The USPS is an absolute joke. If I dont get that package tomorrow someone is getting an earful. This is a $200.00 package Im talking about. Someone is going to pay.
