I am so upset! My little boy (he is elderly) is recovering from a stroke and one of my young boys attacked him. He is finally eating well (still syringe feeds though) and can now walk pretty well. He still bleeds from his nose too. Anyway, I have 3 new young males who stay in the rat room. They dug/chewed the carpet and made a hole big enough to get under the door and escaped their room. My sick little boy has the run of my house, he is special and gets special treatment because he is living his last days. He was walking innocently through my dining room and one of the young males attacked him. I didnt know it until I heard the scuffle and ran to see what it was. The young male bit, chewed, clawed my sick boy, he had blood on him. He is so traumatized. It scared him so bad. I picked him up and he was scared to move, was breathing funny. He loves all rats, tries to get along with them, but they are too territorial and MEAN to him. I feel so bad for him. I know he is in pain :( I am having a hard time getting attached to the new ones and this made me very angry with them. I know its normal behavior, but it hurt me to see my boy in pain and scared. :(
