I am so very glad that or 40th reunion was such a success. I spend months preparing for an evening that although only lasts 4 hours...it lives on for a long long time through memories. We were so few compared to the many we graduated with. Some could not make it because of other obligations, illnesses, financial burdens, etc. However, many choose not to celebrate because of bad memories, bad blood, sad times! We need to put those bad times to rest, make new memories....good memories...good times.....happy times. This is the way to do that. We all wish more could have attended. We mentioned many that were not able to attend. Some we have no way of contacting. I challenge you all to make every effort in the next 4 to 5 years to find those classmates that have not been heard from. Have them contact me so we can keep in touch with them and have them join us at our next reunion. As we age, we sadly lose some classmates and often as the numbers rise for the years away from school, the numbers attending the reunions go down. So far we are on the upswing on attendance. Lets continue that trend as best as we can. We have no control over the numbers of those that pass away....we do have control over those that join us to enjoy each others company...remember good times and forgive the bad times. I could never have done this totally on my own. This year Barbara Davis Debbie Gaughran and Roberta Torre Quinn were extremely helpful in making this night a huge success. Dave Lubin Jay Stutski and Suzanne Folscher Czech are also reunion committee members that assisted with this and previous reunions. I wish to thank all of them for everything they do to make the planning fun and not so stressful! And also for making this night what it was! I also want to thank all of you for attending and making it a true night to remember! Remember my challenge! Lets keep it growing!
