I am so very proud of our girl today! ;-D she had her 2nd p.t. appt for weight bearing today since her hip reconstruction surgery in May and she did amazing things!!! She walked! And not only walked, but also did it without Janelle or myself holding her up. She took steps all by herself. It was so amazing to watch my sweet girl do something that we didnt know if she would ever be able to do again after her surgery and with the possibility of her brace not fitting. Her doctor is on the bench about offering up another script for a new rgo brace to help her stand and take steps because of how often her ortho status changes and her body position differs and the braces dont fit very long :-( This brace does not fit her the way it should since her scoliosis has progressed again and her hip position is different after this last hip surgery but we are determined not to give up! After seeing the amazing things she did today we are ready to fight for a new brace and allow her to continue to do what she wants to do so badly. Way to go Ceci
