I am so very thankful that we have a direct line of communication to God. Im thankful that when I have a need, I can go straight to Him and know that He is always listening. He takes pleasure in us coming to Him, whether its a desperate need, a blanket prayer or just to talk to Him and praise Him. I love how this verse says to come boldly to the throne of grace. We need to learn that and remember that. Satan is also walking this earth boldly, seeking whom he may devour, and we cannot be shy and timid if we ever plan on defeating him in our lives. Jesus died a horrific death on the cross for us to be able to go straight to the Father, straight to the throne of grace. Not only is it a privilege but it is our right as His children. We are not to come to Him and hem and haw around, eventually getting to what we want or need. We are supposed to show confidence, as Christians, in our God. It is because of His grace and mercy He so generously shows me every day that I am able to stand up for Him. I praise my God and I love my Jesus. I am proud to be one of His. Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
