I am so very, very thankful to my loving Father in Heaven this morning for blessings that have come to our family. My sweet niece, Elizabeth Worsley, who was diagnosed with recurring brain cancer in August and has been on an experimental metabolic pathway research drug, received great news this week after another MRI. The cluster of brain tumors have not only shrunk in size, but are now dissolving and are not growing!!! The research team and the research pathologist who identified the potential chemistry mixture are ecstatic, as is the family. The initial prognosis for Elizabeth was days up to eight weeks, as the tumors were inoperable. We have been blessed with having that window extended by weeks, and now it appears by months and years!!! The research team has scheduled another MRI in January, and then has told the family they would like to monitor bi-annually and annually. This life experience is truly Glorious and I am so thankful that I witnessed the sweet harmony that Liz has added to the great symphony. Thank you, sweet, sweet girl for helping nurture my faith and help me remember the joy that we can feel, even when faced with adversity and seemingly insurmountable challenges. Love you!!
