I am sorry, I did not keep the names of all the people that offered to help cut, sew and or make cancer care bags, donate time, material and machines. this was my post: I am looking for some helping hands.. VT cancer survivor network/kindred connections received some money from a grant to make 75 Care Bags for newly diagnosed people.. looking for fabric and donated labor anyone like to help? pretty easy pattern with handle.. tote bags... thank you if so. Kindred Connections/Vermont Cancer Survivor Network has donated 50.00 for material, so we welcome any and all donations.. Here is a sample of the size of the bags, about a yard or so, with pocket. handles can be longer, any color or prints accepted.. If anyone would like to make them on their own, please let me know, we need at least 75, but will take more. We need them before Dec 15th as we are stuffing them with items for the people we are giving them to. Deb Emmons - Talked with quilt people today and they are going to send email to Barre Guild and post facebook onVt quilters page. . My sister said we can use shop to sew too. We can talk monday about dates if you want - otherwise we can set a date to meet to cut and sew :) thank you all, sorry, I dont have the names, of about 20 people that offered to help, sew and dontate.. please let me know. as you can see the 2 first bags are about the size of a plastic walmart bag, the second, is cute if anyone can duplicate the style.. all welcome..
