I am sorry to announce that due to a nasty throat infection I am unable to make Banbury tomorrow night. Ive been given Phenoxymethylpenicillin & co coda-mol for pain relief. Unfortunately I was unable to breath in the early hours of Thursday morning and unable to get out of bed yesterday, which for the first time in ten years since I had flu have I been unable from moving out of bed. I have called Pheobus in Banbury who have been very understanding to make arrangements for them to arrange another Dj, and I can only apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thankfully, everyone I work with currently this week has been extremely patient and very caring - from people on my label waiting for artwork to promoters waiting for booking confirmation replies, and of course my finance manager and finance director at my day job, who I cannot thank enough for being incredibly understanding. It does make a huge difference to have kind people around, and I must thank my boyfriend for being an angel these last few days and getting me down the hospital at 4am. I must add though that the 111 call question asking me if I had come into contact with anyone with Ebola was quite strange. I dont think I would know what someone with Ebola would look like! Thank you for all your kind words & get well messages. Hopefully Ill be back to normal after the weekend. Much love Aliina x
