I am sorry to share some sad news, but we had to say good-bye to our beautiful, seventeen year old. Maincoon kitty, Six. Yes, she was a cantankerous critter, and I am sure there are a few friends out there that will feel safer when they come to visit. It’s hard not to admire her for making a grown man “squeak” in fear though. I loved how she knew what she wanted and wasn’t giving in for anyone or anything. Begrudgingly she accepted new pet after new pet for all those years. She taught them to leave her alone rather effectively! She was Kevin’s constant nap companion and lap warmer. She may not been a fan of anyone else, but she sure did worship Kevin! It is heart breaking to see her little empty stocking hanging by the fire. However, I am happy she was able to be a part of the annual Christmas photo one last time even if she can’t be with us this Christmas. Love you Six! Rest in peace! ~Jen
