I am standing in the kitchen making dinner and I hear Peyton talking to Josiah about a book he just started reading. Peyton was so excited about this new treasure and passionately telling Josiah about this amazing man in the book.Its a true story he says. My ears perk up and I begin to ask questions... What is the title of the book? I ask. Peyton replies,Gods Secret Agent, by Sammy Tippit and Jerry B. Jenkhins He goes on to say, Dont worry mom, it is a SOLID book. Sammy Tippit traveled the world sharing the gospel. He even went to Romania and other communist countries. I then ask, Where did you get this book? Oh, Josiah gave it to me to read. Dad gave it to him. Josiah thought it would be good for me to hear this amazing God story. At that moment, I paused... I thanked God for a husband that takes time to share stories of men who impact the world for eternity with our children. And then I sat and thanked God for sons who have caught what was taught. Proud of these men in my life, and in awe of God once again.
