I am still a student! I guess all of us will agree starting a school is for learning purposes. At the very beginning it will be learning the sounds of the ABC’s. So, we will be able to learn to read. On the other hand, we also will learn things from home. Like what will our parents teach us? I have to admit…I was raised by my mother. I had no father in my life. Yet, I never gave focus to why I didn’t have a father. Given that I was corrected by my mother…as best as she knew how. However, I had problems growing-up because of gangs. I had to learn to beat them up…as they had beaten me! Still I survived by the grace of my God. I can say He really took care of me! For He saved many times from death! I can add…my God knew the future. He knew I would become a student of His. He knew He would use me to help others learn! Today, I continue to be His student. Since, I have fallen in love with learning. I might not be a graduate from Harvard…nonetheless, I keep learning! Not from a father here on earth! For many fathers fail to teach us what is important! Thus, I have learned from my Heavenly Father...that to know God is extremely important! I am more than certain! Here is proof: Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” For this reason, I continue to follow my God. For His teachings are holy…not at all like the world teaches! Therefore, it is best for our lives to end knowing God…than perish without knowing Him!
