I am still in denial but with an aching heart I must tell you that Terry James passed away peacefully in my arms last night as he slept. His kidneys were becoming and issue but I think he had other things that just came together and made living in this world impossible. He had a heart murmur and I think that in the end his heart just gave out. I have been proud to be his foster mother for the past almost 3 years. For the past three weeks, TJ has not eaten on his own and I spoon or syringe fed him 4 times a day and gave him sub-q fluids once a week and then once a day this last week. I kept hoping he would snap out it but it was not to be. Thank you to Sherry for suggesting I take him in and to all who knew and loved TJ. He was a lhasa with an attitude up until the last 2 days when all he wanted to do was sleep next to me. He has his own page that I think we should leave up for a while so that people may read his story.He has more FB friends than I do and his page is called Terry James the Soulful Lhasa. In his memory, please consider fostering or adopting a senior or making a small donation in his name. I love[d] him to the moon and back and I hope that the memories we made together these last 3 years will tide me over till we meet again. I love you Terry James.
