I am still in shock about Robin Williams passing. My heart goes - TopicsExpress

I am still in shock about Robin Williams passing. My heart goes out to his friends, family and anyone who has been touched by his genius. I live a few blocks from his old house in the Seacliff area (lake street), and have spoken to many of the old timers in my area at local coffee joints that actually knew him and would speak to him from time to time. They don’t talk about how funny he was, but instead how gentle, approachable, and humble he was. His smile was contagious they say. Even though he was one of Hollywood’s best, I believe his presence in the Bay is unprecedented. Like many of us, I am a comedy junkie, and my favorite moments of Robin Williams were his interviews. After a hard day at work, a sleepless night, or a night of binge drinking, his humor made my soul jump in laughter. There are so many funny videos to choose from, but I posted my favorite one that he did with David Lettermen. If you have a few moments take a look, its three parts. Rest in Peace Robin Williams, thanks for a lifetime of laughs, happy tears, and the notion that being who you are all the time is just fine. Much Love and Respect. https://youtube/watch?v=_ubvfVHGV2g
