I am still in sickening shock. To think in MY lowest times, I could always find laughter by watching him no matter what role he played. No matter what character he was. To know that he suffered as he did and could find no peace, even in all the friends and loved ones he had. The best care that all his money could buy wasnt enough. I never, in any amount of time, would have imagined that a single person with the talent and mastery of creating laughter that he possessed could suffer just as horribly as a pitiful soul with nothing or no one by his side. Yes, his despair and demise has opened the eyes of many to realize that there truly is a condition that breaks the spirit and destroys the will to continue. But I wish whole heartedly this realization wasnt at his expense. His struggle and ultimate demise has shaken those that continue to remind themselves It can only get better, I will get through this. And the notion that is entertained now is If he couldnt find a way through that dark tunnel with all the resources at his disposal, what chance do I have? I am simply heartbroken and I will forever be.
