I am still trying to figure out how notes always get sent home when money is needed or wanting you to sell something or wanting you to work but none ever get sent out when there is other stuff going on. My grandbabies came home today and said Maw maw why didnt you come to the hay ride with us today? I had to tell them that NO ONE let the parents or grandparents know anything about it, EXCEPT THE CHOSEN ONES. I feel that if ONE parent knows about it EVERY PARENT should know about it. Then if they dont come that is their choice not someone elses. Back when my kids where in school ALL PARENTS WERE ASKED TO BE INVOLVED NOT JUST CERTAIN ONES. If this makes someone mad, so be it, then at least they will understand what I was feeling when my grandbabies came home disappointed because I didnt show up today. PTO = PARENT, TEACHER ORGANIZATION NOT SPTO= SOME PARENTS, TEACHER ORGANIZATION. Some of you all need to put yourself in the parents place that dont get told about everything and see how you like it!!
