I am stunned and reminded how fragile life is and that what can be done today MUST BE done TODAY My friend and mentor Alain Gourd came up in my Birthday reminders on Facebook for today so i went to his page to wish him only to find out that he passed away last December This is a man who about 12 years ago saved my life with his wisdom and his guidance and then about 10 years ago around 2003 he found out he had colon cancer at the young age of 58 and through his battle with it and countless surgeries and chemo as he battled it .. we lost touch as he moved back near Ottawa and i always said to my self as i remembered him now and then, that I should call Alain .. BUT I NEVER DID - ALWAYS TOOO busy with the unimportant and time filling absurdities of life. My lesson that i am present to is to do what needs to be done - TODAY to make amends and seek and give FORGIVENESS - TODAY To
